VERCELLI, 1951. Original Italian Ski Travel Poster (25 x 38” / 80 x 125 cm) originally rolled; designed by Adalberto Campagnoli (1905-1983). This poster was designed to advertise “Vercelli E I Suio Campoi Di Neve”, which translates to “Vercelli and its fields of snow”. The bottom of the poster lists four additional travel locations in northern Italy: Alagna, Alpe di Mera, Oropa and Mucrone.
This poster features a smiling female skier in a short-sleeve top, sunglasses, and with a pair of skis over her shoulder; set on a ski mountain on a sunny blue sky day with a ski life in background.
Originally rolled, never folded, this poster is in very good C9 condition with only minor wear along the margins. This poster would look beautiful and its current excellent condition would be preserved if customer chooses to Linen Back for an additional $80 upon request.
Condition C9. Sold for $325
