This color racing poster was designed as an advertisement for the 24 Heures Du Mans that took place on the 10th and 11th of June, 1967 near the town of Le Mans, France. This race was the 35th Grand Prix of Endurance and also the seventh round of the World Sportscar Championship. the 24 Heures Du Mans is the world’d oldest active sports care race in endurance racing and is one of the most prestigious automobile races in the world. Featured on the lineup in front of the grandstand are two Ferrari 33’s and a Porsche 960 even tough a Ford GT40 eventually won the race.
This poster is in good C7 condition but overall is a but wrinkled and in need of linen backing to enhance it’s appearance. There are pinholes in each corner and these will be filled during optional linen backing.
