THE TIGER WOMAN, 1944. Original One Sheet (27 x 41”), (89 x 125 cm) originally folded and now linen backed movie poster starring Allan Lane, Linda Stirling, and Duncan Renaldo. This poster is from Echo of Eternity, the fourth chapter of the twelve chapter serial from Republic Pictures. The Tiger Woman is the ruler of a native tribe who must protect her tribe from being forced from their jungle home by oil speculators.
In 1951, the serial was re-released as “Perils of the Darkest Jungle”, and in 1966, the serials were edited into a full length movie titled “Jungle Gold”.
Linda Stirling became an instant star from her role as The Tiger Woman, and quickly snatched up to star in “Zorro’s Black Whip”, a film that features a female version of the masked hero.
This poster is in excellent original C9 condition and is virtually flawless for its age! The colors are vivid, and the only noticeable flaw is that the fold lines are still faintly visible.
