The Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus is, without a doubt, the most famous name in the circus business. It’s Barnum & Bailey Roots date back to 1875, but it wasn’t until 1907 that the Ringlings added their name to the bill. The Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus pushed through many hardships, including the Great Depression, World War II, and the devastating Hartford Circus Fire. Due to declining attendance, rising operating costs, and a change in public taste, the circus closed the show in May 2017.

This poster was in very good original C8 condition prior to linen backing, and is in amazing condition. The colors are bright, but the fold lines are still faintly visible. A small tear has been repaired near the center of the bottom edge, and a small bit of paper is missing in the same area. There some staining in the left margin and along the top edge, but is barely visible.
