AVENGE DECEMBER 7, 1942. Original US WW2 Poster (28 x 40” / 92 x 131 cm) originally folded and now linen-backed. Designed by Perlin, Bernard, 1918-2014 for the Office of War Information, this propaganda poster was published in 1942 and is one of the more iconic images of WW2 showing a sailor punching his fist out to the observer in act of revenge amid a burning ship in Pearl Harbor.
Poster is in good condition, has been restored and linen-backed. Colors are bold and strong, with sharp edges.
