Original 1 Sheet (27 x 41” / 69 x 104 cm) folded Movie Poster starring Rock Hudson, Barbara Rush and Jeff Morrow; directed by Douglas Sirk; written by and based on the novel by W.R. Burnett. In this film, Hudson stars as Captain Lightfoot, a 19th century adventurer who is rebelling against British rule. Many who have seen the film describe him as an “Irish Robin Hood” – stealing from the rich and dividing the spoils amongst the Irish peasantry.
This original poster is in good original C8 condition, but has the following quality remarks: some paper loss has occurred along margins near corners of poster due to improper removal of staples when un-mounting poster; separation at the cross folds at center and center bottom; large 4-5″ vertical tear from center bottom of margin up through cast list and partially into the dark background.
