HIGH PLAINS DRIFTER, 1973. Original 1 Sheet (27 x 41” / 69 x 104 cm) folded Western Movie Poster starring and directed by Clint Eastwood; written by Ernest Tidyman. Co-starring Verna Bloom and Marianna Hill. In this antiheroic western, a Stranger (Eastwood) rides into the town of Lago, a dusty mining town where the townspeople live in the shadow of a dark secret. After a deadly shootout, the leaders of the town pay the Stranger to stay and protect them from the ruthless outlaws about to be released from prison – they have unfinished business in Lago and the Stranger is waiting for them in the shadows. “They’d never forget the day he drifted into town.”
This folded poster is in fairly good original C7 condition, but has the following quality remarks: a fold line parting has begun along the middle fold line with light color loss along folds and normal edge wear. Please click on image to zoom in and review for yourself. The above quality issues would be rendered virtually invisible during our Linen Backing process for an additional $80 upon request. For more information on linen backing please click here. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND that this poster be linen backed due to the severe nature of the paper separation in the middle.
