DEATH RACE 2000, 1975. Original folded Grindhouse 1 sheet (27 x 41″) movie theater poster for sale and starring; David Carradine, Sylvester Stallone and Director Paul Bartel. This is Sylvester Stallone´s first movie as “Machine Gun Joe” while Carradine takes the lead as “Frankenstein”! This is a quintessential grindhouse film with excessive killing and ridiculous nudity scenes. This is truly an awesome post apocalyptic cult classic! The poster features some armed cars and a sexy low cut dress on one of the blonde bombshells. There can be no doubt that this film influenced the video game franchise Twisted Metal.
The original Stallone grindhouse classic movie poster is in good condition and for sale, but it does show some wear to note. There is some soiling along the left edge and top margin, there is a gouge on the left corner from being pinned to a wall and on the bottom right corner. For 80 dollars we can dramatically improve the quality of this poster via linen backing and some minor touch-up work. The rest of the artwork is very nice and so will look splendid post restoration.
