Directed by Vincente Minnelli and produced by Dore Schary. “MGM Presents the Comedy of the Year!” After an impetuous romance, a young couple jumps into marriage, just to realize that they have very little in common. She’s a posh fashion designer, and he is a working-class sports writer. They find themselves tangled up in a series of misunderstandings about ex-lovers, and mishaps with local mobsters. Hopefully, their love is true enough to pull them through.
