DOWN TO EARTH, 1946. Original 1 Sheet (27 x 40”) (89 x 131 cm) folded Movie Poster starring Larry Parks and Rita Hayworth and directed by Alexander Hall. This film serves as a quasi-sequel to the 1941 classic Here Comes Mr. Jordan. The plot follows the Greek muse of dance, Terpsichore, who becomes visibly annoyed by a new Broadway musical that mocks Greek mythology. She secures permission from the celestial overseer, Mr. Jordan, to descend to Earth as a mortal named Kitty Pendleton and lands the starring role to fix the show.
