Directed by Charles Walters, produced by Arthur Freed, and music by Irving Berlin. “The happiest musical ever made” “Color by Technicolor of MGM” A nightclub performer is devastated when his dance partner goes solo, and refuses to sign a new contract with him. To make her jealous, and prove she isn’t important to him, he claims he can make a star out of the next dancer he sees. He set his sight on transforming a young naive chorus girl.
Easter Parade was the highest-grossing musical of the year, and the most financially successful film for both, Fred Astaire and Judy Garland. The film includes some of their best-known songs, such as “Steppin’ Out with My Baby”, “We’re a Couple of Swells”, and “Easter Parade”.
This folded poster is in very good original C8 condition. There is some wrinkling along the top and bottom edges of the poster, and scattered very small margin tears.
