To make her jealous, and prove she isn’t important to him, he claims he can make a star out of the next dancer he sees. He set his sight on transforming a young naive chorus girl.
Easter Parade was the highest-grossing musical of the year, and the most financially successful film for both, Fred Astaire and Judy Garland. The film includes some of their best-known songs, such as “Steppin’ Out with My Baby”, “We’re a Couple of Swells”, and “Easter Parade”.
