TWO JILLS IN A JEEP, 1944. Original One Sheet (27 x 41”), (89 x 125 cm) originally folded and now linen backed movie poster starring Mitzi Mayfair, Kay Francis, Carole Landis, and Martha Raye. Directed by William A. Seiter and produced by Irving Starr. Not quite a biopic, and not quite a musical, Four Jills in a Jeep is a (mostly) true reenactment of the USO experiences of Mitzi Mayfair and her friends entertaining the troops in England and North Africa.
This poster is in C6 condition with great colors. There are scattered small chips of margin missing around the edges, and along the center of the fold lines. The fold lines have been retouched. There is a burn hole in the bottom left quadrant, and the tears along the fold lines have been repaired. There is also some discoloration along the top of the poster, and in the bottom left corner.
