GOLDFINGER, 1964
. Original French Grande Movie Poster 47” x 63” (119 x 160 cm) designed by for the 1964 initial release of Goldfinger by Jean Mascii (1926-2003) to French cinemas. Starring Sean Connery as James Bond, Honor Blackman as Pussy Galore and Gert Frobe. In this movie, the third in the James Bond series to hit the silver screen is based on the Ian Fleming book by the same name. James Bond is called in by MI6 to try to foil a plot to alter the world economy by evil genius and gold smuggler Auric Goldfinger who plans to raid Fort Knox.

This movie was re-released to theaters in the 1970’s and the 1980’s in France. The image was the same but the printers ID is different. In the 1970’s the printers name in the bottom right is S. E. Lalande while on the first release it is Saint Martin, Paris. In the 1980’s on the S A Lalande printers name appears vertically together with a logo in the bottom left corner.
