There are three versions of this poster; the 1st printing dated Teaser which was sent to theaters well before it was released in the summer of 1978 and then there was a 2nd version that didn’t include the date below the title and then there was a 3rd printing Teaser that was released shortly afterwards with the caption “All New”. Audiences were confused when the movie was released because they thought it was the original Jaws film being re-released; so to help clarify the confusion the 3rd printing was issued with a tag line above the Jaws 2 text reading: “ALL NEW”.
This poster wass in very good condition prior to linen backing and recieved light color retouching to the fold lines. Ready to frame!
