LA ISLA DE LAS MUJERES, 1953. Original Linen Backed Mexican (27 x 37” / 69 x 94 cm) Movie Poster starring German Valdes as Tin-Tan and Lilia Sel Valle directed by Rafael Baledón. This Mexican Comedy, “The Island of Women”, follows a group of people who find themselves on a mysterious island inhabited only by women. As the plot unfolds, the characters encounter various challenges, including conflicts with the island’s residents and the discovery of hidden secrets.

Mexican posters were printed on low quality, thin paper and are very fragile. We strongly recommend our linen backing service to stabilize these fine posters and prepare them correctly for framing. Left alone they will deteriorate and tear easily.
This poster was originally folded with some rippling but is now in excellent linen backed condition.
