SCREAM, 1996. Original rolled 1 Sheet (27 x 40” / 89 x 131 cm) Movie Poster starring David Arquette and Nev Campbell directed by Wes Craven. One of Craven’s more notable movies following A Nightmare on Elm Street, which pokes fun at classic slasher tropes and includes elements of humor, making the killer incredibly clumsy, the opposite of other movies before its time. Despite being killed off in the first ten minutes of the movie, Drew Barrymore’s face became the staple image for the Scream movie franchise, as seen on this poster. Barrymore was set to be the main character of the series but insisted on being killed first as it was uncharacteristic for slashers at the time.
