THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK, 1980. Original blue NSS Style B 1 Sheet movie theater poster for sale and starring; Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and writer and executive producer George Lucas. This star wars poster version has been selling very quickly in the last year. The artwork is by Tom Jung and is truly unique artistically, being the only Star Wars poster with a light blue color toning. If you like the colors this is the poster for you! There are also two version of the blue style poster. There is the NSS version (which is this one) and there is the studio version without the NSS information. On the bottom right corner the “k” appears to be cropped, this is in fact completely normal for all authentic movie theater posters and it must have had a issue when the lined up the original plates.
This poster is in excellent to very fine condition but has the slightest wear along the fold lines and crossfolds. The poster has been stored flat for the last 25 years and is honestly in really nice condition. A very nice investment grade poster.
