Welch. “Like Merry Xmas and Happy New Year… They Belong Together!” Jane Russell Stars as the fearless frontierswoman and secret agent, Calamity Jane. Her mission is to find out who is selling weapons to the Indians, but she has to marry a gutless local dentist, “Painless” Peter Potter (Bob Hope), in order to keep her cover and catch the criminals.
Russell and Hope make a dynamic duo, and the movie’s hit song “Buttons and Bows” won the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 1948.
This folded 1 Sheet poster is in very good original C8 condition, but does have a few pinholes near the top right and left corners. There is no color loss along the fold lines, and all of the edges and corners are crisp. There is a very small hole at the point where the bottom horizontal fold line and the vertical fold line meet. Linen Backing is available for an additional $80 upon request or by adding the service to your cart below. This would produce a flat, backed poster that’s ready to display! Retouching the color along the fold lines is optional but included in the service. We linen back and frame all of our posters IN HOUSE at our studio in Katy, TX!
