QUIET MAN, 1952. Original Lobby Card (11” x 14” / 36 x 46 cm) Lobby Card starring John Wayne, Maureen O’Hara and Barry Fitzgerald. Directed by John Ford who often said this was his favorite movie features John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara at their very best together. Its hard to watch this film and not believe there was a magic chemistry between the stars. A retired boxer played by Wayne returns to Ireland to the village of his birth and encounters the village beauty played by Maureen O’Hara and her grumpy brother who also knows how to swing a punch. A must see film and a great lobby card here in its 1956 re-release printing.
This Lobby Card is in fine C8 condition with very bright colors and no damage or stains, there is some wax crayon written on near to the NSS number at the bottom right corner which suggests this card was also used for the 1957 film run.
