The agents face numerous challenges, including a nest of aggressive ants, a tense showdown in the city’s storm drains, and the discovery that the queen ant has laid eggs that could lead to the creation of a new colony. The movie is known for its pioneering use of special effects and its tense, suspenseful atmosphere.
