This Hammer Studios movie is the third installment of the Karnstein Trilogy, which is based on the novella Carmilla. A classic vampire-based horror film that follows the storyline of orphan twin sisters, who although are identical, are set apart by their interests. One of the sisters finds herself drawn to black magic, where she then gets transformed into a vampire by Count Karnstein. The vampire twin goes on to commit various evil acts, forcing her twin sister to cover for her.
