7 PECADOS, 1959. Original Linen Backed Mexican (27 x 37” / 69 x 94 cm) Movie Poster starring Lilia Del Valle and Emilia Guiu and directed by Jose Diaz Morales. This Mexican Drama, “Seven Sins”, begins by introducing seven models, each representing one of the seven deadly sins (lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy, and pride). This Mexican film, ahead of its time, tackles this theme (reminiscent of David Fincher’s Se7en from 1995). However, it leaves the audience wanting to see more satisfying consequences for these sins. Director José Díaz Morales keeps viewers intrigued, making them ponder which sin each model represents and how each will meet their end.
Mexican posters were printed on low quality, thin paper and are very fragile. We strongly recommend our linen backing service to stabilize these fine posters and prepare them correctly for framing. Left alone they will deteriorate and tear easily.
This poster was originally folded but is now in excellent linen backed condition.
