Following the same story line as the 2012 release Prometheus, Ripley takes the film back to the planet LV-426. This Recalled Ripley style version is the rarest and most valuable version for this movie. It was recalled soon after it was issued to theaters. Rumor had it that Fox recalled this “Ripley style” version after Sigourney Weaver objected to the way she appeared on the poster. This theory with disproven earlier when we had a chance to talk with Sigourney Weaver and she recalled the poster not because of how she looked, but because she didn’t like being associated with guns. Her contract for the film actually allowed her to approve all posters before distribution. Rapidly increasing in value.
Originally folded and now linen backed. Poster is complete, fold lines have been retouched where necessary and the poster is now ready for framing.
