BANDOLERO DE AMOR, (LA VALENTINA) 1937. Original Linen Backed Argentinean 1 Sheet (29 x 43” / 74 x 110 cm) Movie Poster starring Jorge Negrete, Esperanza Baur and directed by Martín de Lucenay. This Mexican movie sees Negrete playing the role of the love smitten charro or bandit of love in this the second movie of his career. Originally released in Mexico as La Valentina the movie was retitled when released in Argentina.
The poster is a fine example of stone lithography and depicts Negrete behind bars clutching the girl of his dreams played by Baur.
