BARRIO BAJO, 1950. Original Linen Backed Mexican (27 x 37” / 69 x 94 cm) Movie Poster starring Carmen Gonzales and Adalberto Martinez (better known as Resortes) who was a renowned Mexican actor directed by Fernando Méndez. This Mexican comedy, “Slum”, is about life in a poor neighborhood. It shows the struggles of people facing poverty, crime, and tough living conditions. The story focuses on their personal lives, relationships, and how they deal with these challenges, highlighting themes of survival and resilience.
Mexican posters were printed on low quality, thin paper and are very fragile. We strongly recommend our linen backing service to stabilize these fine posters and prepare them correctly for framing. Left alone they will deteriorate and tear easily.
This poster was originally folded with some damage along the top horizontal fold line, as well as a red stain along the top of the margin but is now in excellent linen backed condition.
