CHINATOWN, 1974. Original 1 Sheet (27 x 41” / 69 x 104 cm) folded Movie Poster starring Jack Nicholson and Faye Dunaway; Directed by Roman Polanski. A private detective named JJ ‘Jake’ Gittes who specializes in matrimonial cases is hired by a woman named Evelyn Mulwray who suspects her husband is having an affair. Gittes finds her husband and photographs him with a young girl, but soon realizes he was hired by an impersonator and the real Mrs. Mulwray was murdered. The detective is now caught up in a plot of murder, incest, and municipal corruption involving the city’s water supply.
This folded poster is in very good original C8 condition with some light color loss on the fold lines and pinholes on all four corners.
