ENDLESS SUMMER, Original Surfing Bruce Brown Poster

ENDLESS SUMMER, 1967. Original Day-Glo Personality Poster (29.25 x 40.5” / 96 x 133 cm) made to be sold directly to the public in 1967 to build on the success of the Bruce Brown directed 1964 documentary. This classic, surfing sports documentary quickly became a cult classic amid the era of the Beach Boys surfing mania gripping California in the 60’s. The movie follows the adventures of two American surfers who travel the world in search of the perfect wave.

A very rare chance to purchase perhaps the most iconic images of the 1960’s and certainly one of the most recognizable poster images to have ever been made

Artist: John Van Hamersveld

This poster had several small border tears and one long tear about 6 inches long extending from the upper border into the sun. Additionally there are some light scuff marks which are commonly present on Day-Glo posters. The poster is linen backed and we have addressed these issues and retouched the color along the trace of the tears. The poster displays very well.
