HALLOWEEN, 1978. Original unfolded Black/White Ratings box style with border 1 Sheet (27/41″) Vintage Classic Horror Movie Theater Poster, Starring Donald Pleasence, Jamie Lee Curtis, Nancy Kyes and director writer John Carpenter.
There are 3 versions of this poster all with identical artwork. The sole difference between the different versions are the ratings box located in the bottom line of the credits. The most valuable version is the rating box that is colored blue or green which were originally released to limited theaters in 1978. Due to box office success, the film was released again in 1979 by NSS where the poster was released with a black ratings box. Both of the release dates are considered to be original releases for this film.
This poster is rolled and has a tear on the right side margin that passes into the black. This would vanish during the linen backing process. There are additional defects on each of the corners, with the upper left corner with some scribbles in pen that can be restored in our studio. Outside of these defects the artwork remains um-blemished and pristine.
