LEND THE WAY THEY FIGHT, 1918. Original US WW1 Poster (27.5 x 41.5” / 90 x 136 cm) originally rolled and now linen backed. Designed by Edmund M. Ashe, (1867-1941) for the Third Liberty Bond Campaign issued in the Spring of 1918. “Buy Bonds to your Utmost”. This poster depicts a doughboy attacking a group of the Kaiser’s soldiers in a trench with a grenade and bayonet in hand.
Originally rolled this poster was in very fine condition prior to linen backing.
