Original International 1 Sheet (27 x 41” / 69 x 104 cm) linen backed Movie Poster for the 1984 Re-Release of the silent movie directed by Fritz Lang; based on the original novel by Tea von Harbou. The international poster for this re-release was designed by illustrator and graphic designer Tom Nikosey and follows the discovery of missing footage of the movie discovered in Argentina. In a futuristic city sharply divided between the rich and poor, a son of the rich city planners falls in love with someone in the working class – a prophet who predicts the coming of their savior to meditate their differences.
