PINK FLOYD THE WALL, 1982. Original 1 Sheet (27 x 41” / 69 x 104 cm) folded Movie Poster directed by Alan Parker; starring Bob Geldof as rock singer “Pink”; film music produced by Roger Walters. The movie is about a burnt out rock music singer who is only able to perform on stage with the help of drugs. The film begins in Pink’s youth where he is crushed by his mother’s love. Several years later, he begins to write poems in school and is punished by the teachers who find out. As Pink slowly begins feel secluded, he builds an emotional wall around himself to be protected from the outside world. This wall is depicted in the film using massive and epic pictures until the very end of the movie; where he tears down this wall and breaks free.
This folded poster is in good original condition with only very slight and normal color loss on folds. We also noticed small scribble on bottom white margin.
