JUNGLE MANHUNT, 1951 . Original 1 Sheet (27 x 41” / 89 x 135 cm) folded Movie Poster starring Johnny Weissmuller, Sheila Ryan and directed by Lew Landers. Following Weissmuller’s career as Tarzan he turned his attention to starring in a series of 16 films produced between 1948 and 1955 by Columbia pictures. The series which were based on a comic strip and set in Africa were a popular series and Jungle Manhunt was the seventh on the series. Great graphics featuring Jungle Jim fighting a fictional creature while searching for a lost football player. “Tamba the chimp” looks on.
