Original One Sheet (27 x 41”), (89 x 125 cm) originally folded and now linen backed movie poster starring Judy Garland and Robert Walker and directed by future husband Vincente Minnelli. A superb romantic love story about a WW2 soldier on leave for 48 hours in New York, a city he has never visited before. He meets Garland at a train station and she shows him around for a while on her way home. They arrange a date and spend the night helping a milkman in trouble only to find themselves falling in love. The next day they lose each other in the subway and the tension and sense of panic in the movie is palpable. “Every Second a Heartbeat”
This poster was in good original C6 folded condition prior to linen backing, the poster did display some fold line parting and had several small margin tears, less than an inch of the uppermost margin was trimmed in the past. The fold lines have received some color retouching. Ready to frame!
