This film follows Gill Man after his escape from captivity in a Florida lab. The mad scientist that held him captive tracks him down in the Florida Everglades, and forces him to live on life on land as humans do. He becomes increasingly unhappy, escapes, and goes on a rampage killing people and setting fires.
