Original Walt Disney Italian 1p Movie Poster 39” x 55” (128 x 180 cm) originally folded and now linen backed movie poster directed by Robert Stevenson and starring Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke in one of the most beloved movies of all times. This poster is the Italian “award style”, denoted by the Oscar trophy symbol and the text, and captures one of the more memorable scenes of the pair dancing on the chimney stacked rooftops of old Edwardian London. Julie Andrews is hired to be the new nanny to two children and performs her magic throughout the film eventually meeting Dick Van Dyke as the local chimney sweep. This is the movie that brought so many wonderful songs by the Sherman Brothers including “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious”!
This poster was folded with some minor damage along the margin but has been linen backed and is in excellent condition. Ready to frame.
