Directed and produced by Bert I. Gordon. A reporter discovers an agricultural lab in Illinois that accidentally created a swarm of man-eating giant grasshoppers that have gone rogue and are wreaking havoc on their way to Chicago. She must find a way to save the city despite an attempt by the military to cover up the incident.
